About Us

Why Choose Us

Established in 2001, Diakosmos Dance Academy has been a place where students are encouraged to dance from the heart, forming meaningful connections with kindred spirits who share a love for the Performing Arts.

At Diakosmos, our ethos is all-embracing. Every child is welcomed, valued, and encouraged to discover their unique strengths and passions. We take great care in all aspects of our programs – from safe dance practice and thoughtful choreography to age-appropriate music and costuming, ensuring that dance is presented with integrity, dignity, and respect for all.

We offer flexible programs to suit all ages, abilities, and aspirations. Whether a student is dancing for enjoyment, to build confidence, to develop technique, undertaking Ballet examinations, or pursuing a professional pathway in the Performing Arts, each journey is honoured and supported at an individual pace. Our Aspire Program formalises this, empowering each student to have a vision for their own Performing Arts journey. Our team provides opportunity and structure, whilst our students make choices aligned with their aspirations.

One of the key features that sets our programs apart is our small class sizes. With class sizes ranging from 2-10, we provide high-quality, personalised instruction at a group class rate, making close teacher attention accessible without the cost of private lessons.

Our highly qualified teachers and experienced performing artists are passionate about delivering a holistic Performing Arts education. With a strong focus on the wellbeing of the whole person, our students are empowered not only as performers, but as confident, flourishing young people.
